Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Will this include ‘Drawing Fundamentals’?

Only to some extent. While we will hover a bit on anatomy, lighting, and effects design, a basic surface-level understanding of anatomy and perspective would be great!

The whole course will be drawn using volumetric-humanoid subjects although everything can be applied to the simplest of shapes, so no need to worry if you can only draw stick figures. I started as a non-drawer stick figure animator as well :D

2. Is this a ‘How to Animate’ type of course?

Similar to what mentioned above. We will hover to some 'unorthodox' method of animating and conduct beginner-friendly exercises, but familiarity with animation principles would be beneficial :D

3. What is an animation pipeline?

An animation pipeline is a structured, step-by-step process guiding an animation project from its initial concept to the final product delivery.

 4. What does 'pre-selling' mean?

The process of selling a product or service that doesn't yet exist in order to find out if people like, want, or need that product or service. In our case, all the videos are already recorded, it just needs editing and narration.

5. Will there be a Character Design Lesson?

No. I would love to include that but unfortunately it is out of my line. Once you choose the 'With Feedback' option, you are to choose from a variety of model sheets I will provide or you can use your own official character! How cool is that!

6. I chose 'With Feedback', what now?

Well thanks mate! I'll reach out to you via email to discuss everything, including quicker communication options like Discord. Our collaboration will resemble a director-animator relationship, but in a more relaxed environment without the pressure of tight deadlines. You also have the option to include 'speed training', where we’ll set target dates for each assignment. The service will continue until the final assignment meets your desired quality or for a full year from the course launch.
